Private pay, with a superbill for your insurance.
We don't bill insurance directly. For therapy, we'll give you a superbill you can submit for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Exact fees are confirmed on your first call.
Coaching is not a medical service and is not eligible for insurance reimbursement.
What people usually ask.
Do you take insurance?
We're a private-pay practice, so we don't bill insurance directly. For therapy, we provide a superbill: a detailed receipt you can submit to your insurance company. Many plans reimburse part of the cost for out-of-network care. Call your insurer to ask about your out-of-network mental health benefits.
What is a superbill?
A superbill lists the services you received, the dates, and the codes your insurance company needs. You pay us at the time of service, submit the superbill to your insurer, and they reimburse you directly based on your plan.
What's the difference between therapy and coaching?
Therapy is clinical care. It looks back to heal hurt, trauma and patterns, and it can address mental health concerns like anxiety and depression. Coaching looks ahead. It focuses on clarity, goals, growth and follow-through. Neither is the lesser option. On your first call, we'll help you choose.
Do you meet in person or online?
Both. Therapy is available in person or online for clients living in Tennessee. Coaching can happen online from anywhere. Intensives are in person.
Why does couples work start with onboarding?
Good couples work starts with understanding your story. Onboarding includes assessments and time with each of you, so our sessions together are focused from the start. It's a paid first stage, and it's where the work begins.
Is faith part of your work?
Kelly's faith is part of her own story, and she's glad to bring it into sessions when you want her to. It's never required. Many of our clients carry church hurt, and they're welcome here exactly as they are.
How long are sessions?
Individual sessions are about 50 minutes. Couples sessions may run longer. Intensives are one or two extended days. We'll walk you through the details before you begin.
What if I'm in crisis?
We don't offer emergency services. If you're in crisis, call or text 988 to reach the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline, or call 911.
